Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR UM FIO METáLICO, FIO METáLICO, E, ARTIGO REFORçADO COM FIO DE UMA COMPOSIçãO ELASTOMéRICA". Um fio metálico revestido de latão para uso como um componente de reforço em um artigo elastomérico, tal como um pneu de veículo motorizado. O revestimento de latão é formado pela deposição de camadas alternadas de cobre e de zinco sobre o fio e depois pelo estiramento do fio sob condições de temperatura e pressão apropriadas para ligar o cobre e o zinco a fim de formar um revestimentro de latão sobre o fio.
