Abstract
''DISPERSãO AQUOSA, PROCESSOS PARA PRODUZIR A MESMA, PARA DESIDRATAR UMA SUSPENSãO DE SóLIDOS DISPERSOS E PARA PRODUZIR PARTìCULAS POLIMéRICAS SOLúVEIS EM áGUA OU INTUMESCìVEIS EM áGUA ANIÈNICAS SUBSTANCIALMENTE SECAS, PARTìCULAS POLIMéRICAS ANIÈNICAS, E, AGLOMERADOS POLIMéRICOS ANIÈNICOS''. São fornecidas dispersões aquosas de polímeros solúveis em água ou intumescíveis em água aniónicos, em que os polímeros têm uma carga aniónica maior do que 16% e em que as dispersões mantêm sua forma em um pH de 5,1 ou maior. Processos para produzir estas dispersões são também descritos, bem como processos de utilizar estas dispersões para tratar água contendo vários tipos de materiais suspensos. Polímeros secos, preferivelmente formados pela secagem destas dispersões aquosas, são também descritos.
