Abstract

<B>Método de produção de fluxo de gases incluindo hidrogênio e gerador de hidrogênio por um reformador de plasma<D>, um destes dispositivos compreendendo uma câmara de reação com plasma frio (10b) para produzir a reforma de uma mistura primária consistindo de gás combustível (hidrocarbonetos ou álcool), assim como oxigênio, vapor de água, conseq³entemente produzindo uma mistura de gases secundário contendo em particular hidrogênio, dióxido de carbono e monóxido de carbono; uma peça interior (18) para misturar estes constituintes, cooperando com um queimador (42) e uma câmara de combustão associada (40) para trazer a mistura primária resultante a uma alta temperatura antes de ser introduzida na câmara de reação (10a); uma chaminé em forma de anel (48) envolvendo esta câmara para mante-la a relativas altas temperaturas; uma fonte dealta freq³ência alternada de alta voltagem (58), modulada por breves pulsos de baixa freq³ência e elétrodos (62-66) para gerar descargas silenciosas, na câmara de reação (10b) conseq³êntemente gerando um plasma frio produzindo uma reatividade química alta a mistura de gases presente; uma membrana (12) com permeabilidade seletiva alta para extrair o hidrogênio nascente arranjado entrea a câmara (10b) e a câmara para coletar o hidrogênio (14); uma folha térmica isolante (50) incluída em toda moltagem. A invenção é aplicável a células de combustível PEM, anexadas em veículos elétricos ou em de geradores portáteis.
