Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "CATALISADORES DE OXIDAçãO HOMOGêNEOS DE LONGA VIDA". Apresenta-se um complexo de quelato robusto com a fórmula (I), em que M é um metal, de preferência um metal de transição; Z é um átomo doador aniónico, pelo menos três dos quais são nitrogênio, e o outro é, de preferência, nitrogênio ou oxigênio; L, é um ligante instável; Ch~ 1~, Ch~ 2~ e Ch~ 3~ são grupos quelatos resistentes à oxidação, que são iguais ou diferentes e que formam anéis de 5 ou 6 elementos com o metal, e Ch~ 4~ é um grupo quelato com a estrutura (a), em que R~ 1~ e R~ 2~ são iguais ou diferentes, e são, de preferência, selecionados no grupo que consiste em hidrogênio, halogênio, metila e CF~ 3~, ou, quando ligados, um substituinte ciclo de anel de 5 ou 6 elementos. O complexo fornece um catalisador ou ativador de catalisador de oxidação estável e de longa vida.
