Os sistemas e métodos aqui revelados revelam o uso de estações de ancoragem com receptáculos de estação de ancoragem de aparelhos de exibição e conjuntos de suporte de ancoragem. Uma estação de ancoragem colocada em um receptáculo de estação de ancoragem de um aparelho de exibição pode se conectar a um dispositivo hospedeiro e transportar energia e/ou dados como entre a estação de ancoragem, o dispositivo hospedeiro, o aparelho de exibição e qualquer(quaisquer) objeto(s) externo(s).
