Abstract

trata-se de um processo para produzir um polímero à base de etileno que compreende polimerização, pela presença de pelo menos um iniciador de radical livre e com o uso de um processo de polimerização tubular de alta pressão, uma mistura de reação contendo etileno e pelo menos um sistema de cta que compreende um ou mais componentes de cta para produzir o polímero à base de etileno. o iniciador de radical livre é dissolvido em um solvente que compreende um hidrocarboneto saturado para formar uma solução de iniciador que é adicionada à polimerização com o uso de uma linha de alimentação de iniciador para uma bomba de injeção de iniciador. pelo menos 50% em peso do solvente tem i) um ponto seco inferior ou igual a 160°c e ii) um ponto de ebulição inicial maior ou igual a 100°c. o processo de polimerização tem uma relação de pressão de entrada para o primeiro pico de temperatura menor ou igual a 0,9 mpa (9 bar)/°c. pelo menos uma corrente de compensação de cta é alimentada no processo de polimerização, em que menos ou igual a 30% em peso da pelo menos uma corrente de compensação de cta compreende um ou mais cta(s) de hidrocarboneto saturado com um número máximo de átomo de carbono de 6 por molécula.
