Abstract

trata-se de um processo de mesclagem em linha para polímeros que compreende: (a) fornecer duas ou mais unidades de reator e separador de baixa pressão (1,7) em configuração paralela, sendo que cada unidade de reator e separador de baixa pressão compreende um reator (2,8) conectado fluidamente a um separador de baixa pressão (3,9) a jusante e adicionalmente uma linha de reciclagem (5,11) que conecta o separador de baixa pressão (3,9) de volta ao reator correspondente (2,8); (b) polimerizar monômeros de olefina que têm dois ou mais átomos de carbono em cada um dos reatores (2,8) em polimerização em solução; (c) formar um fluxo de efluentes de reator não reduzidos que inclui uma mistura de polímero-monômero-solvente de fase fluida homogênea em cada um dos reatores (2,8), (d) passar os fluxos de efluentes de reator não reduzidos a partir de cada um dos reatores (2,8) através dos separadores de baixa pressão correspondentes (3,9), de modo que a temperatura e pressão dos separadores de baixa pressão (3,9) seja ajustada para que uma fase líquida e uma fase de vapor sejam obtidas produzindo, desse modo, uma fase líquida enriquecida com polímero e uma fase de vapor pobre em polímero, e (e) separar a fase de vapor pobre em polímero da fase líquida enriquecida com polímero em cada um dos separadores de baixa pressão (3,9) para formar fluxos de vapor pobres em polímero separados e fluxos de líquido enriquecidos com polímero separados; (f) combinar os fluxos de líquido enriquecidos com polímero da etapa (e) em um separador e/ou um misturador de baixa pressão adicional (13) para produzir um fluxo de líquido enriquecido com polímero combinado (16); (g) reintroduzir os fluxos de vapor pobres em polímero da etapa (e) por meio de linhas de reciclagem (5,11) nos reatores correspondentes (2,8).
