Abstract
um envidraçamento compreende um substrato de vidro possuindo uma camada de esmalte aderida a pelo menos uma primeira porção da sua superfície, o esmalte compreendendo de 20 a 80%p de frita e de 10 a 50%p de pigmento inorgânico. a espessura da camada de esmalte está na faixa de 2 µm a 50 µm, e o pigmento inorgânico tem uma refletância ao infravermelho tal que a refletância ao infravermelho da primeira porção da superfície do substrato de vidro é de 37% ou mais ao longo de uma região na faixa de comprimento de onda de 800 nm a 2250 nm. o envidraçamento pode ser laminado, e pode ser um pára-brisas para uso em veículos. também revelado é um processo para produzir o envidraçamento mediante aplicação de uma tinta a um substrato de vidro, cura da tinta produzindo assim um esmalte aderido ao substrato de vidro, e moldagem do substrato de vidro mediante aquecer até uma temperatura acima de 570 °c. os pigmentos inorgânicos preferidos são do tipo fe e/ou cr em espinélio, forma cristalina de hematita ou corindo.
