Abstract
Processo para a fabricação de artigos descontínuos dotados de microestruturas. São descritos um sistema e um processo para a fabricação de artigos descontínuos dotados de microestruturas em padrão. Os artigos apresentam uma alta qualidade e podem ser usados em aplicações relativas a displays ou mostradores de painel plano. O sistema e o processo usam um rolete de fundição com um padrão na superfície do rolete de fundição de modo a transferir uma microestrutura descontínua na superfície do substrato, e um dispositivo de revestimento que é adaptado de modo a aplicar um revestimento na superfície do substrato de uma forma descontínua, de tal modo que as áreas do substrato que são revestidas pelo dispositivo de revestimento correspondam ao padrão do rolete de fundição.
