Abstract
a presente invenção provê um método para preparar etilenoglicol a partir da hidrólise de éter monometílico de etilenoglicol. o método compreende a passagem de uma matéria-prima fresca contendo éter monometílico de etilenoglicol e água através de uma zona de reação carregada com um catalisador ácido sólido para reagir sob as condições a seguir; separar a mistura reagida via um sistema de separação para obter um produto alvo de etilenoglicol, subprodutos, contendo metanol, éter dimetílico e derivados à base de etilenoglicol, e uma matéria-prima não reagida contendo éter monometílico de etilenoglicol e água; passar o produto alvo de etilenoglicol para um sistema de coleta de produto; e passar álcool metílico e éter dimetílico nos subprodutos para um sistema de coleta de subprodutos; e, depois de serem misturados com matérias-primas frescas contendo éter monometílico de etilenoglicol e água, os derivados à base de etilenoglicol nos subprodutos e a matéria-prima não reagida, contendo éter monometílico de etilenoglicol e água, são reciclados para a zona de reação para realizar o preparo de etilenoglicol a partir da hidrólise de éter monometílico de etilenoglicol. a presente invenção provê um novo processo para realizar o preparo de etilenoglicol a partir da hidrólise de éter monometílico de etilenoglicol. além disso, no método, o catalisador dispõe de vida longa e de boa estabilidade
