Abstract

a presente invenção se refere a um processo de polimerização de olefinas. pelo menos uma olefina é polimerizada em fase gasosa em um leito fluidizado na presença de um catalisador de polimerização de olefinas em um reator de polimerização que tem um corpo vertical; uma zona inferior geralmente cônica que afunila para baixo; uma zona intermediária geralmente cilíndrica acima e conectada à dita zona inferior; e uma zona de topo geralmente cônica que afunila para cima acima e conectada à dita zona intermediária. o gás de fluidização é introduzido na zona inferior do reator a partir de onde o mesmo passa para cima através do reator e é retirado da zona de topo do reator. o gás é então comprimido, resfriado e devolvido para a zona inferior do reator. um leito fluidizado é, portanto, formado dentro do reator onde as partículas de polímero crescentes são suspensas na corrente de gás ascendente em que a velocidade superficial do gás de fluidização é menor do que a velocidade de transporte das partículas. não existe grelha de fluidização no reator. o gás de fluidização é passado de uma câmara de entrada para dentro da zona inferior e o gás flui da parte superior da câmara de entrada para a parte mais baixa da mesma e o gás flui da parte mais baixa da câmara de entrada para a zona inferior.
