Abstract

La invención proporciona un proceso de polimerización de radical libre a alta presión para polimerizar un polímero basado en etileno, el proceso que comprende polimerizar etileno, en una configuración de reactor que comprende un reactor con al menos dos zonas de reacción, una primera zona de reacción y una zona de reacción situada corriente abajo desde la primera zona de reacción; y en donde CO (monóxido de carbono) se añade al reactor en al menos una zona de reacción situada corriente abajo de la primera zona de reacción, y en donde, menos de, o igual a 95 por ciento en peso de la cantidad total de CO, se alimenta a la primera zona de reacción.
