Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um produto polimérico so-lúvel em água sob a forma de partículas, compreendendo poliacrilami-da anfotérica, que é obtida por polimerização em gel de acrilamida jun-tamente com monômeros aniônicos e catiônicos. a poliacrilamida anfo-térica tem um peso molecular mássico médio de 1.500.000 ? 6.000.000 g/mol e uma ionicidade total de 4 - 15% molar, pelo que o produto polimérico tem um teor de polímero de pelo menos 60% em peso. a presente invenção refere-se também a usos do produto poli-mérico na fabricação de papel e papelão.
