Abstract

a invenção se refere a uma composição de polímero solúvel em água obtida por meio de polimerização em um meio de polimerização aquoso, que compreende amido degradado, e pelo menos os seguintes monômeros: acrilamida e/ou metacrilamida, e > 2 moles % de pelo menos um ácido ou ácidos mono ou dicarboxílico não saturado ou sais dos mesmos. a composição de polímero possui uma carga líquida aniônica em ph 7 e um teor de sólidos secos de > 5% em peso. a invenção também se refere à utilização da composição de polímero para engomação de superfície de papel, papelão ou semelhantes, bem como a uma composição de engomação de superfície que compreende a mesma.
