Abstract

a invenção refere-se a uma composição de resistência a seco aquosa, adequada para uso na fabricação de papel, papelão ou similares. a composição compreende uma mistura de um componente de polímero sintético, que é um copolímero de acrilamida e pelo menos um monômero aniônico, o componente de polímero tendo uma anionicidade de 1 ? 60 % em mol, e um componente de amido catiônico. o componente de polímero sintético e o componente de amido catiônico propiciam a composição com uma densidade de carga na faixa de 0,05 ? 1 meq/g, quando medida em ph 2,8, e 0,2 ? -3 meq/g, quando medida em ph 7,0. a invenção refere-se também a um método para a preparação de papel, papelão ou similares, onde a composição de resistência a seco é diluída com água para obter uma solução de composição de resistência a seco tendo um ph final > 3, e a solução da composição de resistentes a seco é adicionada à matéria-prima de fibras antes ou depois da adição de um agente de resistência catiônico.
