Abstract

MICRO-ORGANISMOS RECOMBINANTES, VIA METABÓLICA ENGENHEIRADA E PROCESSOS PARA AUMENTAR A CAPTAÇÃO DE ACETATO PARTINDO DE UMA BIOMASSA E PARA CONVERSÃO DE BIOMASSA EM ETANOL, ACETONA OU ISOPROPANOL. A presente invenção refere-se a novas vias metabólicas para desintoxicar acetato derivado da biomassa através da conversão metabólica em etanol, acetona ou isopropanol. Mais especificamente, a invenção refere-se a um micro-organismo recombinante que compreende uma ou mais enzimas nativas e/ou heterólogas que funcionam em uma ou mais primeiras vias metabólicas engenheiradas para atingir: (1) conversão de acetato em etanol; (2) conversão de acetato em acetona; ou (3) conversão de acetato em isopropanol; e uma ou mais enzimas nativas e/ou heterólogas que funcionam em uma ou mais segundas vias metabólicas engenheiradas para produzir um doador de elétron utilizado na conversão de acetato em compostos menos inibidores; em que a uma ou mais enzimas nativas e/ou heterólogas são ativadas, reguladas para mais ou reguladas para menos.
