Abstract
MÉTODO PARA PRODUÇÃO DE TEREFTALATO DE POLIBUTILENO. A presente invenção descreve um método para produção de tereftalato de polibutileno (PBT) com cor excelente utilizando 1,4 - butanodiol (BG) derivado de biomassa. A invenção está relacionada a um método para produção de PBT compreendendo uma etapa de submissão do componente diol contendo a matéria-prima composta de 1,4 - BG, apresentando um conteúdo de nitrogênio de 0,01 a 50 ppm em peso, e um componente de ácido dicarboxílico a uma reação de esterificação ou transesterificação, e a uma etapa de reação de policondensação para obtenção do PBT a partir do reagente, onde o conteúdo de gama butirolactona na matéria-prima composta de 1,4 - BG é de 1 a 100 ppm em peso.
