Abstract
MÉTODO PARA PRODUZIR UMA SEGUNDA PLANTA, MÉTODO DE PRODUÇÃO DE UM LÓCUS, MÉTODO DE ALTERAÇÃO DE UM LÓCUS, MÉTODO DE GERAR UMA BIBLIOTECA DE PLANTAS, MÉTODO DE IDENTIFICAR PLANTAS, MÉTODO DE OBTENÇÃO DE UMA PLANTA TRANSGÊNICA Trata-se de composições e métodos para empilhar múltiplos loci transgênicos independentes no genoma de uma planta. As composições incluem plantas, sementes ou células de planta que compreendem pelo menos um sítio-alvo transgênico e pelo menos um locus genômico de interesse integrado a diferentes sítios genômicos em uma janela genômica. As técnicas de reprodução através de melhoramento de planta podem ser empregadas de modo que o sítio-alvo transgênico e o locus genômico de interesse possam ser juntamente reproduzidos através de melhoramento. Dessa forma, podem ser geradas múltiplas integrações de transgene independentes em uma janela genômica a fim de criar um locus de traço complexo. O locus de traço complexo é projetado de modo que os sítios alvos transgênicos e/ou loci genômicos de interesse possam se segregar independentemente um do outro, fornecendo assim o benefício de alteração de um locus de traço complexo por meio da inserção através de melhoramento e da retirada através de melhoramento de elementos específicos.
