Abstract

ARTIGO PARA ARMAZENAGEM DE ENERGIA TÉRMICA. A invenção é dirigida a artigos e dispositivos para a armazenagem de energia térmica, e para processo para armazenar energia usando estes artigos e dispositivos. Os artigos compreendem uma estrutura capsular (10) tendo um ou mais espaços selados (14), sendo que os espaços selados encapsulam um ou mais materiais de armazenagem de energia térmica (26); sendo que a estrutura capsular tem uma ou mais passagens de fluido (16) que são suficientemente grandes para permitir um fluido de transferência térmica escoar através da uma ou mais passagens de fluido; e quando um fluido de transferência térmica contata a estrutura capsular (10) o material de armazenagem de energia térmica (26) fica isolado do fluido de transferência térmica. Os dispositivos incluem dois ou mais artigos arranjados tal que um fluido, tal como um fluido de transferência térmica, possa escoar através da passagem de fluido (16) de um artigo antes ou após escoar através de um espaço entre dois dos artigos.
