Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO LìQUIDA AQUOSA QUE é ADEQUADA OU COMO TAL OU APóS DILUIçãO COM áGUA PARA O TRATAMENTO DE SUPERFìCIES DE METAL E PROCESSO DE TRATAR UMA SUPERFìCIE DE METAL E ARTIGO DE FABRICAçãO". Um tratamento líquido aquoso livre de cromato quimicamente e termicamente estável para metais, especialmente alumínio, que transmite resistência à corrosão tão boa quanto aquela dos tratamentos contendo cromato convencionais, contém água e um fluoroácido selecionado do grupo consistindo de H~ 2~TiF~ 6~, H~ 2~ZrF~ 6~, H~ 2~HfF~ 6~, H~ 2~SiF~ 6~, H~ 2~GeF~ 6~, H~ 2~SnF~ 6~, HBF~ 4~, e misturas destes; um ácido carboxílico orgânico solúvel em água que contém pelo menos dois grupos de hidroxila, incompatíveis com os grupos de hidroxila que são parte de quaisquer grupos de carboxila, por grupo de carboxila em cada molécula de ácido, os sais solúveis em água de tais ácidos, e misturas destes; uma fonte de íons de fosfato; e um componente orgânico selecionado do grupo consistindo de taninos e polímeros fenólicos de amino.
