Abstract
"MéTODO E SISTEMA DE CONSERVAçãO DE BATERIA DE DISPOSITIVO SEM FIO". Geralmente, a presente invenção provê um método para a detecção de condições de RF ruins, e a entrada em níveis de modo de repouso ou fases diferentes, de acordo com as condições de RF, para economia de energia de bateria. A vida da bateria do dispositivo móvel pode ser conservada quando o dispositivo móvel detectar condições de RF ruins e entrar em um modo de repouso profundo de operação. Neste modo de repouso profundo de operação, o dispositivo móvel periodicamente amostra as condições de RF e, gradualmente, aumenta o período entre as amostras, quando as condições de RF não melhorarem. Devido ao fato da mobilidade poder mudar a condição de RF para dispositivos sem fio, mesmo em áreas de boa cobertura de RF, o dispositivo móvel operando no modo de repouso profundo pode detectar esta mobilidade e, assim, melhorar a probabilidade de entrada em um estado inativo ou, alternativamente, entrar em um modo de economia de energia mais longo. Quando a condição de RF melhora, o dispositivo móvel sai do modo de repouso profundo e retorna para o estado inativo.
