"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE POLIISOBUTENO". é divulgado um processo para a produção de poliisobuteno que contém pelo menos 75 % molar de duplas ligações terminais de vinilideno. De acordo com o processo da invenção, o isobuteno ou as misturas de hidrocarboneto que contêm isobuteno é (são) polimerizado (as) em uma fase líquida na presença de um catalisador complexo de trifluoreto de boro que tem a composição A(BF~ 3~): b(Co1): c(Co2), em que Col representa pelo menos um álcool terciário Co2 representa um composto selecionado entre água, álcoois primários, álcoois secundários, dialquil éteres, ácidos alcanocarboxílicos e fenóis, a razão c:b é desde 0,9 até 1,8 e a razão (b+c):a é desde 0,9 até 3,0.
