Abstract
"PROCESSO DE REVESTIMENTO EM Pó COM LEITO FLUIDIZADO ELETROSTATICAMENTE CARREGADO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para formar um revestimento em um substrato condutor, incluindo as etapas de: estabelecer um leito fluidizado de uma composição de revestimento em pó, desse modo efetuando carregamento tribostático da composição de revestimento em pó, o leito fluidizado incluindo uma câmara de fluidização pelo menos uma parte da qual é condutora, aplicar uma voltagem à parte condutora da câmara de fluidização, imergir o substrato completamente ou parcialmente no leito fluidizado, desse modo partículas carregadas da composição de revestimento em pó aderem ao substrato, o substrato estando ou eletricamente isolado ou aterrado, retirar o substrato do leito fluidizado e formar as partículas aderentes em um revestimento contínuo sobre pelo menos parte do substrato. O processo oferece vantagens em termos de revestir áreas do substrato as quais, devido ao efeito de gaiola de Faraday, são inacessíveis em processos de revestimento em pó eletrostáticos convencionais, e também permitem a formação de revestimentos mais finos que são obteníveis por processos de leito fluidizado convencionais. Vantagens adicionais incluem uniformidade e velocidade de revestimento.
