Abstract

Un proceso para formar un revestimiento sobre un sustrato conductivo, incluyendo las etapas de: establecer un lecho fluidizado de una composicion de revestimiento en polvo, efectuando de tal modo la carga tribostatica de la composicion de revestimiento en polvo, el lecho fluidizado incluyendo una camara fluidizante al menos una parte de la cual es conductiva, aplicar un voltaje a la parte conductiva de la camara fluidizante, sumergir el sustrato completa o parcialmente en el lecho fluidizado, mediante lo cual las particulas cargadas de la composicion de revestimiento en polvo se adhieren al sustrato, el sustrato ya sea aislandose electricamente o poniendose a tierra, extraer el sustrato del lecho fluidizado y formar las particulas adherentes en un revestimiento continuo sobre al menos parte del sustrato. El proceso ofrece ventajas en terminos de areas de sustrato de revestimiento las cuales, debido al efecto de jaula Faraday, son inaccesibles en procesos de revestimiento en polvo electrostaticos convencionales, y tambien se permite la formacion de revestimientos mas delgados que son obtenibles por procesos de lecho fluidizado convencionales. Ventajas adicionales incluyen uniformidad y velocidad de revestimiento.
