Abstract

"CORREIA DE BAIXO MóDULO PARA APLICAçõES AUTOMOTIVAS". A presente invenção proporciona uma correia de acionamento de baixo módulo (16) para um sistema de acionamento suplementar automotivo (10) que permite um alongamento relativamente grande durante a instalação e que mantém um percentual relativamente alto de sua tensão de instalação através da vida útil da correia. A presente invenção proporciona também um sistema de acionamento suplementar automotivo (10) que utiliza a referida correia (16) e a um método de construir a referida correia. Uma modalidade da presente invenção está orientada a um sistema de acionamento suplementar para automóvel que inclui (a) uma polia de acionamento (12), (b) uma polia suplementar (14) conectada de forma operacional ao eixo de acionamento suplementar, e (c) uma correia de acionamento sem-fim (16) engatada entre a polia de acionamento e a polia suplementar, onde a correia de acionamento inclui uma tira sem-fim de material composto de borracha dotada de uma pluralidade de cordões torcidos 6.6 de poliamida axialmente alinhados e que se estendem circunferencialmente (23) formados na mesma.
