Abstract

Se describe una correa de transmision de bajo modulo para un sistema de accionamiento de accesorios (10) para automovil, la cual permite un estiramiento relativamente alto durante su instalacion y que mantiene un porcentaje relativamente elevado de su tension de instalacion a través de la vida util de la correa. También se provee un sistema de accionamiento de accesorios (10) para automovil que utiliza dicha correa (16) y un procedimiento para manufacturar tal correa. Una modalidad de realizacion de la presente está dirigida a un sistema de accionamiento de accesorios para automovil que incluye: (a) una polea impulsora (12); (b) una polea de accesorio (14) acoplada operativamente a un árbol de accionamiento de accesorio; y (c) una correa de transmision sinfín (16) montada y acoplada entre la polea impulsora y la polea de accesorio, incluyendo la correa de transmision una banda sinfín de material compuesto de caucho que presenta una pluralidad de cuerdas (cords) retorcidas (23) de poliamida 6.6, que se extienden circunferencialmente y están alineadas axialmente, en dicho material compuesto.
