Abstract
"MéTODOS PARA CONVERSãO DE COMBUSTìVEL DE HIDROCARBONETO EM GáS RICO EM HIDROGêNIO E PARA OPERAçãO DE UMA CéLULA DE COMBUSTìVEL, E, APARELHO PARA PRODUçãO DE ELETRICIDADE A PARTIR DO COMBUSTìVEL DE HIDROCARBONETO". Um método ilustrativo para conversão de combustível de hidrocarboneto em gás rico de hidrogênio, inclui as etapas de: reação do combustível de hidrocarboneto com vapor na presença de catalisador de reforma e um material de fixação de dióxido de carbono para produzir um primeiro gás de hidrogênio; e remoção de monóxido de carbono do primeiro gás de hidrogênio para produzir o gás rico em hidrogênio, em que a etapa de remoção utiliza um processo selecionado de metanação ou oxidação seletiva. Em uma realização ilustrativa o material de fixação de dióxido de carbono é selecionado de óxido de cálcio, hidróxido de cálcio, óxido de estróncio, hidróxido de estróncio, alanita, andralita, anquerita, anortita, aragonita, calcita, dolomita, clinozoisita, huntita, hidrotalcita, lausonita, meionita, estroncianita, vaterita, jutnorita, mimnrecordita, benstonita, olecminsquita, nierereíta, natrofairchildita, farichildita, zemcorita, butschlita, shirtita, remondita, petersenita, calcioburbanquita, caneshita, carboncernaíta, brinquita, prirauíta, estróncio dressenita, e materiais similares dessa natureza e qualquer combinação desses. O catalisador de reforma em uma realização preferida e ilustrativa é selecionado dentre níquel, platina, ródio, paládio, rutênio, ou catalisador de reforma suportado similar ou combinações desses. Em tais casos o catalisador de reforma é preferivelmente suportado em um suporte de área superficial alta desse modo promovendo a reação de reforma e mais preferivelmente é selecionado de alumina, titânia, zircónia, ou compostos dessa natureza análoga ou combinações desses. é preferido que em uma realização ilustrativa a temperatura da etapa de reação seja de cerca de 400<198>C a cerca de 800<198>C.
