Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A FORMAçãO DE UM COMPóSITO REFORçADO COM FIBRA SEM O USO DE UMA MATRIZ DE IMPREGNAçãO FECHADA, ARTIGO COMPóSITO, E, PARTE PULTRUSADA". Um processo para a preparação de compósitos reforçados com fibra, no qual o polímero da matriz é derivado a partir da reação catalisada de um material contendo poliisocianato líquido. O mecanismo de cura principal é a formação de ligações uretano e/ ou isocianurato. Pelo menos uma porção do catalisador é aplicada sobre a superfície das fibras de reforço e/ ou sobre a superfície à estrutura de reforço impregnada com a resina não curada, sob condições tais que o catalisador não é dispersado no volume de resina contendo isocianato até a cura. A cura é facilitada por uma combinação de ação mecânica e ação térmica. O processo é particularmente bem apropriado para a preparação de compósitos por pultrusão, usando uma máquina de pultrusão de banho aberto de componente único. O processo da invenção pode ser adaptado a uma faixa muito mais ampla de métodos de fabricação de compósito, incluindo SMC e enrolamento de filamento.
