Abstract
"PRODUTO DE PULTRUSãO REFORçADO TRANSVERSAL E AXIALMENTE". Um produto de pultrusão reforçado (30') compreende uma matriz polimérica (36), pelo menos uma fibra reforçadora fletida, longItudinalmente orientada, (46), encaixada nessa matriz polimérica (36). O produto (30') é produzido através de um processo de pultrusão no qual utiliza-se um conjunto de fios trançados compósitos (24) que compreendem fibras reforçadoras e fibras poliméricas. Uma força de tração suplementar é aplicada sobre um primeiro subconjunto (26) de fios trançados compósitos. Os fios trançados compósitos são aquecidos de tal modo que as fibras poliméricas de um segundo subconjunto (28) de fios trançados compósitos contraem-se fazendo com que as fibras reforçadoras em cada segundo subconjunto (28) de fios trançados compósitos enverguem. O conjunto de fios trançados compósitos aquecidos (24), incluindo as fibras reforçadoras fletidas (44), é consolidado em um molde de pultrusão (18).
