Abstract
"MéTODOS PARA CONTROLAR UM MOTOR, E PARA REDUZIR A ADULTERAçãO DE CARACTERíSTICAS DO MOTOR, SISTEMAS PARA CONTROLAR UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA DE IGNIçãO POR COMPRESSãO, E PARA REDUZIR A ADULTERAçãO DE CARACTERíSTICAS DO MOTOR, MEIO DE ARMAZENAGEM LEGíVEL POR COMPUTADOR, E, CONTROLADOR ELETRôNICO DE MOTOR". Um sistema e método para controlar um motor de combustão interna de ignição por compressão (10), que possui um módulo de controle eletrônico com uma característica de paralisação durante marcha lenta para parar automaticamente o motor (10) após se manter em marcha lenta por um período de tempo, inclui determinar se o motor (10) está sendo carregado, e anular a característica de paralisação durante marcha lenta a fim de manter o motor (10) em operação quando o motor (10) está sendo carregado. Numa realização, a presente invenção inclui monitorar as condições de operação para se certificar que o veículo está parado, monitorar o motor (10) para se certificar que o motor (10) está em marcha lenta, iniciar um temporizador/contador a fim de fornecer uma indicação do período de tempo em marcha lenta, determinar que o motor (10) está operando num modo de potência auxiliar, determinar a carga de motor, e parar automaticamente o motor (10) quando o período de tempo em marcha lenta excede um primeiro limiar e a carga de motor é menor que um segundo limiar.
