Abstract

"MéTODOS DE LOCALIZAçãO DE UMA FONTE POTENCIAL DE VAZAMENTO DE FLUIDO EM UM RECIPIENTE DE FLUIDO E DE LOCALIZAçãO DE UMA FONTE POTENCIAL DE VAZAMENTO DE COMBUSTìVEL EM UM TANQUE DE COMBUSTìVEL DE AERONAVE". Um método de localização de uma fonte potencial de vazamento de combustível em um tanque de combustível de aeronave que inclui as etapas de: selar uma cobertura hermética a vácuo sobre toda a junta na superfície do tanque de combustível vazio onde exista uma fonte suspeita de vazamento de combustível; remover o ar entre a cobertura e a superfície; medir o vácuo entre a cobertura e a superfície; comparar o vácuo medido com um valor de vácuo de referência aceitável predeterminado. A técnica de selar uma cobertura hermética a vácuo em uma superfície é conhecida como "ensacamento".
