Abstract

"BOMBA DE COMBUSTìVEL TIPO TURBINA". Bomba de combustível tipo turbina de motor elétrico que tem um par de canais de bombeio de combustível separados dispostos nas faces opostas de um impulsor que tem uma pluralidade de palhetas circunferencialmente afastadas entre si, colocadas na periferia do impulsor. Cada palheta tem uma parte de base estendida essencialmente no sentido radial para fora a partir do corpo principal do impulsor e uma parte de extremidade estendida desde a parte de base. A parte de extremidade de cada palheta é, genericamente, arqueada ou curva, de tal modo que a borda externa extrema radial da extremidade fica na frente ou conduz a correspondente borda interna extrema radial de sua base na direção de rotação do impulsor. De preferência, cada palheta é definida entre um par de cavidades estendidas radial, axial e circunferencialmente, formadas no impulsor, com um conjunto de palhetas abrindo-se no sentido de cada par de faces laterais opostas do referido impulsor. Uma nervura estendida no sentido axial centralizado e circunferencial se projeta na direção da parte radialmente externa extrema das palhetas e as separa numa das faces do impulsor a partir das referidas palhetas na face oposta do referido impulsor. A nervura central se comunica com uma nervura complementar de um aro de guia no qual o impulsor é recebido no conjunto da bomba de combustível para, também, separar os canais de bombeio de combustível uns dos outros. A orientação das palhetas dentro da fenda ou canais de bombeio de combustível separados aumenta de forma incrível a eficiência da bomba, especialmente sob baixas velocidades do motor da referida bomba de combustível e baixas condições de taxa de fluxo de fluido da mesma. Desejavelmente, isto, por exemplo, melhorará a partida a frio de um motor que utilize a bomba de combustível.
