Abstract

"PROCESSO DE REVESTIMENTO DE UM SUBSTRATO TERMOPLáSTICO, SUBSTRATO PLáSTICO E SUBSTRATO REVESTIDO". A presente invenção se refere a um processo de revestimento de um substrato termoplástico que compreende a aplicação de uma composição de revestimento à base de solvente ao substrato e cura da composição de revestimento sob temperatura ambiente a 125<198>C, para formar um filme macio uniforme sobre o substrato; em que a composição de revestimento contém cerca de 45 a 80% em peso de um aglutinante formador de filme e 20 a 55% em peso de um veículo líquido orgânico; em que o aglutinante contém (A) 40 a 90% em peso, com base no peso do aglutinante, de um polímero selecionado a partir do seguinte: poliol acrílico, poliol de poliéster, poliol de poliéter ou um poliol de poliuretano; e (B) 10 a 60% em peso, com base no peso do aglutinante, de um agente reticulante de poliisocianato orgânico; e em que o veículo líquido orgânico utilizado na composição de revestimento compreende pelo menos 50% em peso, com base no peso do veículo líquido orgânico utilizado na composição de revestimento, de acetato de butila terciário; o processo de acordo com a presente invenção pode também ser utilizado para aplicar vernizes, ou seja, composição de revestimento que não contenha um agente reticulante tal como poliisocianato.
