Abstract

"POLìMEROS DE POLIURETANO OU POLIURETANO-URéIA DE MEMóRIA DE FORMATO". A presente invenção refere-se a uma polímero de poliuretano ou poliuretano-uréia de formato de memória incluindo um produto de reação de: (A) (a) macrodiol baseado em silício, macrodiamina baseado em silício e/ou poliéteres da fórmula (I): A-[(CH~ 2~)~ m~-O]~ n~-(CH~ 2~)~ m~-A', onde A e A' são grupos de extremidade tamponadas; m é um número inteiro de 6 ou mais; e n é um número inteiro de 1 ou maior; (b) um diisocianato; e (c) um extensor de cadeia; ou (B) (b) um diisocianato; e (c) um extensor de cadeia, dito polímero tendo uma temperatura de transição vítrea a qual permite o polímero a ser formado em um primeiro formato em uma temperatura maior do que a temperatura de transição vítrea e mantida em dito primeiro formato quando o polímero é esfriado a uma temperatura inferior do que a temperatura de transição vítrea, dito polímero então sendo capaz de recuperar seu formato original em aquecimento a uma temperatura maior do que a temperatura de transição vítrea. A presente invenção também refere-se a composição de memória de formato a qual inclui uma combinação de dois ou mais polímeros de poliuretano ou poliuretano-uréia de memória de formato definidos acima ou pelo menos um polímero de poliuretano ou poliuretano-uréia de memória de formato definido acima em combinação com outro material. A presente invenção além disso refere-se a processos para preparar, materiais tendo propriedades mecânicas, clareza, processabilidade, bioestabilidade e/ou resistência a degradação e dispositivos ou artigos contendo o polímero de poliuretano ou poliuretano-uréia de memória de formato e/ou composição definida acima.
