Abstract

"CONSTRUçãO DE FERRAMENTA, E, MéTODO PARA PRENDER UMA FERRAMENTA, COMO UM PUNçãO, FERRAMENTA DE CONFORMAçãO OU BUCHA DE MATRIZ EM UM BLOCO RETENTOR, E PARA CONFORMAR UMA CUNHA". Um mecanismo convencional de trava por esfera foi substituído por uma cunha adaptada para travar uma ferramenta, como um punção, ferramenta de conformação ou bucha de matriz em um bloco retentor no qual a ferramenta pode ser posicionada precisamente em relação ao bloco retentor. A ferramenta é liberada pela movimentação da cunha no sentido oposto ao bloco retentor. A superfície inclinada da cunha pode ser inclinada para cima ou para baixo, a um ângulo agudo em relação a vertical, ou a cunha pode ter ambas as superfícies inclinadas para cima e para baixo. A porção superior da ferramenta é, de preferência, não-circular e é presa dentro de uma cavidade de ferramenta conformada quando a cunha é disposta no bloco retentor. Uma superfície da cunha (sua superfície de contato com a ferramenta) é adaptada para corresponder à superfície da ferramenta em contato com a cunha.
