Abstract

"REATOR MULTITUBULAR E APLICAçãO DO MESMO". A invenção trata de um reator multitubular a leito fixo e da aplicação de um reator deste tipo para a condução de reações catalíticas em fase gasosa, especialmente para a realização de reações de fase gasosa catalítica exotérmicas ou endotérmicas tal como produzindo anidrido ftálico (PSA),ácido acrílico (AA), ácido metacrílico (MAA), acroleina, anidrido maleico (MAS), glioxal, fosgênio, ácido cianídrico ou formamida de vinila (VFA). De acordo com a invenção, no caso de reatores de maior porte onde um considerável calor de reação é produzido ou requerido e tem de ser dissipado como um resultado dos numerosos tubos de reação (17), a relação de distribuição de tubos t para o diâmetro externo do tubo d~ a~, é tornada dependente do diâmetro do reator ou do diâmetro do feixe de tubos d~ Rba~. Se o diâmetro externo do feixe de tubos de reação (18) é de mais de 4 metros, uma relação de distribuição de tubos t para o diâmetro externo do tubo d~ a~, de pelo menos 1.3 tem preferência.
