Abstract

Procédé pour détruire des déchets dangereux solides et/ou liquides, tels que des matières contenant des hydiscarbures chlorés ou autres, Suivant lequel on utilise une incinration dans des conditions inférieures aux conditions stoechiométriques à une température d'au moins 1200 degré C. le rapport entre les déchets injectés et l'oxydant est réglé pour donner un quotient CO2/CO + CO2 inférieur à 0,1, au moyen d'une chambre de réaction (11) reliée à une colonne (12) de carburation, la chambre de réaction comportant un orifice d'entrée (13) pour les déchets à détruire. Un gaz est fourni à un générateur (14) de plasma et chauffé dans celui-ci jusqu'à la température d'ionisation. Ce gaz est fourni à la chambre de réaction (11), émettant de la chaleur vers la matière et la soumettant simultanément à un rayonnement ultraviolet.
