Abstract
Procédé et appareillage pour la pyrolyse de résidus urbains et industriels contenant de l'eau et des matières organiques en vue de convertir ceux-ci en charbon actif, en gaz combustible et en liquide volatil Avant d'être introduit dans le four de pyrolyse, le résidu humide est mélangé avec une partie de la matière carbonique chaude évacuée de la zone de pyrolyse pour donner un produit granuleux substantiellement sec qui est ensuite introduit dans la zone de pyrolyse. Le gaz de pyrolyse est brûlé pour entretenir la réaction de pyrolyse. L'eau évaporée au cours du mélange est chauffée par la combustion du gaz de pyrolyse et transformée en vapeur sèche. La vapeur sèche est mise en contact avec le mélange sec pendant l'opération de pyrolyse et le transforme en charbon actif. Application au traitement non polluant de résidus humides, notamment de boues d'égout.
