On connait différentes manières d'amorcer cet enroulement.

Centrifugal spinning or twisting machine.
The present invention relates to a centrifugal machine
spinning or twisting and in particular a machine of this kind in which after depositing the yarn in the form of a ring
in the thread holder, the mass of spun thread is transported, when
following the rotation of the thread holder, on a spool or a socket which is placed in the thread holder.
When during spinning the thread holder has received its largest. possible quantity of thread, it is necessary that this quantity of thread is transported on a spool which is introduced for this purpose in the rotating thread carrier. We know different ways of starting this winding. It is in these obviously necessary that the arrival of the wick is stopped. The stretching mechanism is therefore stopped beforehand.
When the start is made, rewinding is done quickly and easily. The thread holder therefore continues to rotate while the take-up spool is stopped. When the take-up spool has now picked up all the thread, it must be withdrawn from the thread holder and the thread hanging outside the thread guide will be broken very close to it. This free end of thread therefore becomes unusable for restarting the spinning in the thread holder. When the draw-out mechanism resumes operation, if the thread spinning does not start again quickly and easily, a serious obstruction in the thread guide will result.
In order to avoid these drawbacks and to ensure a good restarting of the spinning, the centrifugal spinning or twisting machine is provided, according to the present invention, with a device for feeding into the yarn holder an additional length such as yarn. that after stopping the drawing mechanism and after removing the spool or the sleeve packed with the spun yarn and breaking the yarn, the spinning can be restarted immediately in the yarn holder with this length of yarn.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the device according to the invention by way of example.
Figure 1 is a vertical section of a spinning element, during placement of the yarn ring in the yarn holder. Figure 2 is a vertical section of the spinning or twisting element after the introduction of the take-up spool and the actuation of the device for the delivery of an additional length of yarn. Figure 3 is a vertical section of the spinning or twisting element after removal of the take-up spool.
There is shown in the drawing at 1 a beam of the frame of the spinning machine. There has been disposed thereon the draw mechanism which comprises the pairs of draw rollers and the normal return rollers. The spinning pot 4 is suspended from another

roller which is not shown in detail. Axis 5 of the pot
spinning rod 4 is of hollow construction. We mounted on this axis
5 above the mechanism 3 of the ball or roller bearing, the control pulley 6 by which the spinning pot 4 is actuated in the usual way by means of a belt 7. In the hollow shaft 5 is arranged with upward and downward mobility, the wire guide 8 also established in the form of a hollow pipe. This thread guide 8 distributes the turns of thread evenly along
of the inner wall of the spinning pot 4. The spinning pot 4 is further provided, at the lower part, with a ring 10 of which

The spool 11 is mounted on a spindle 13 which can be moved up and down in the vertical direction and can also rotate around a horizontal axis 14. When they have been lowered out of the thread holder onto the spinning pot 4, the spindle 13 and the spool 11 can therefore easily be folded obliquely forward and the spool can then be withdrawn from the spindle 13. The up and down movement of the spindle 13 with the spool 11 is made for example by means of a hand crank 15 which is suitably coupled by means of the axes 16 and 17 with the toothed wheels 18 and 19, the worm 20 and the worm wheel 21, cogwheels 22

furthermore at a place, between the highest point attainable by the upper face of the yarn guide 8 and the lower drawing cylinder 25 of the stretching mechanism, the actual device for giving the additional yarn length. This device comprises a rod 26 which is provided at one end with a smooth rounded rule 27 connected transversely thereto The rod 26 is movable in the horizontal direction in guides
28 and 29 and has, in part, the shape of a rack 30. In this rack 30 engages a pinion 31 which is mounted on the same axis as the worm wheel 32. This wheel
32 is actuated by a worm 33 on the axis 17.
The connection is such that when the pin 13 with the coil 11 is pushed into the thread holder or pot 4 by rotation of the hand crank
15, the rod 26 with its rule 27 is at the same time pressed against the wire 35.
The operation is as follows:
If the wire holder or the pot 4 is full, we stop the mechanism

however, pot 4 continues to turn. By means of the hand crank 15, the spindle 13 with the empty spool 11 is lifted into

thread 35 to the left. As the stretching mechanism is stationary, no wire can be fed from this side. The extra length required by the movement of the wire 35 comes from the pot
4. As soon as the rod 26 with the rule 27 has reached its extreme position and has thus withdrawn a determined quantity of thread from the spinning pot 4, the spool 11 also arrives in its most extreme position.

On the upper end of the tweezer 13. there is a member 36 in the form of a finger which grips the thread 35 passing from the opening 37 of the thread guide 8 towards the turns of the thread 9, which establishes contact with the spool 11 and the return winding begins. After the spool 11 is filled with the rewound thread, the spool 11 is again brought down by means of the hand crank 15. The thread still lying against
