La présente invention consiste en un dispositif universel au moyen duquel on communique un s out ien à la ohaussure, de ma- nière à garder celle-ci dans sa forme originale. Cet appareil présente la particularité d'être d'une construction très simple et de constituer ainsi, un produit excessivement b on marché.
Le dispositif est constitué essentiellement d'un élément moulé ou façonné que l'on introduit dans la chaussure; sous l'in- fluence d'un ressort ou d'un élément élastique agissant sur l'ap- pareil,il peut facilement être introduit dans la chaussure où, sous un effet de détente,le dit appareil remplit l'intérieur et tend la peausserie ou autre matière formant la chaussure,de ma- mère à lui maintenir sa forme originale.

L'appareil sera fait,par exemple/en carton,toile encollée, métal mince ou autre substance qui se laisse façonner,mouler et peut être mise sous tension par un élément faisant ressort.
L'invention sera d'ailleurs déorite ci-après avec référence au dessin annexé, qui illustre une forme de réalisation.
La figure 1 est une vue en plan de l'appareil; la figure 2 est une coupe suivant II-II de la figure 1; la figure 3 est une élévation latérale et la figure 4 est une vue en plan de l'appareil regardé par en dessous.
Comme on peut le voir par ce dessin, le corps de l'appareil est destiné à maintenir ou soutenir principalement l'empeigne du sou- lier, c'est-a-dire, la partie qui caractérise le plus,la forme et le modèle. Cotte partie 1 est faite en carton,toile encollée,métal minceou autre substance qui peut être courbée après avoir été dé- coupée dans les dimensions voulues. Il en résulte que l'appareil comporte deux ailes dirigées vers l'arrière 2 et 3,qui se laissent comprimer à la main et qui peuvent également s'écarter l'une de l'autre ou s'étendre par exemple sous l'action de l'élasticité propre de la matière, ou sous l'influence d'un fil de ressort 5, cour@é en demi-cercle et inséré à l'intérieur d'un rebord 4 de la partie1.
Ce ressort peut'éventuellement être remplacépar une lame 6 occupant une position transversale et que l'on introduit au moyen d'une tige pour la pousser suffisamment profondément à l'in-. térieur du rebord 4 pour provoquer la tension voulue dans l'appareil.
L'emploi du dispositif est donc très simple. On prend l'appa- reil par les ailes 2 et 3 et en les rapproche l'une de l'autre,de façon à courber davantage l'élément 1; il diminue ainsi le volume occupé et on peut l'introduire dans une chaussure de dimensions relativement correspondantes. Quant on lâche l'appareil,le ressort 5 ou 1'élément 6 assure l'expansion, de manière que 1' appareil de soutien occupe entièrement la partie avant de la ohaussure et met le cuir ou autre matière constituant la ohaussure sous tension.

Il couvient de noter qu'un dispositif de soutien de ce genre peut convenir à différentes pointures de chaussures, de façon que la série de ces appareils ne doit pas être aussi éten- due que la série des pointures mêmes.
On peut varier la puissance du ressort et le choix de la ma- tière permet également de construire le modèle le mieux approprié au genre de chaussures et à la pointure. Quand on utilise l'élé- ment en T. 6, on peut exactement pousser le dispositif sous une tension déterminée à l'intérieur de la chaussure.
L'appareil de soutien tel que décrit étant d'un prix très réduit, on peut avantageusement en garnir toute chaussure nouvel- le mise en vente,de façon que l'acheteur a intérêt à acheter la chaussure ainsi garnie,du fait qu'il acquiert ainsi la certitude que la forme sera maintenue dans cet article d'habillement pen- dent le temps où il reste inutilisé.
Ce nouveau mode de vente dérivé des qualités propres à l'ap- pareil constitue également une nouveauté brevetable.
