La présente invention a pour objet un outil construit de façon à pouvoir servir de marteau, de clef anglaise, de trousse de clefs à tube et de cliquet pour un racagnac utili- sant ces clefs à tube. Cet outil présente l'aspect d'un mar- teau dont le manche est constitué par une série de clefs à tube de différents calibres enfilées sur une tige qui est biseautée à son extrémité libre pour former cliquet. Lorsqu'on emploie l'outil comme clef anglaise, la tête du marteau sert de mâchoire fixe et l'on adapte sur le manche une mâchoire mo- bile amovible munie d'une vis de serrage et d'un patin qui coopère avec une partie conique du manche pour bloquer cette mâchoire dans la position voulue.

Une forme de réalisation de cet outil est représentée à titre d'exemple sur le dessin annexé, dans lequel :

La tête de marteau 1. formant la mâchoire fixe de la clef anglaise, est d'une pièce avec une partie conique 2 et une partie cylindrique 3 du manche qui se continue par une tige carrée 4 rivée dans la partie cylindrique 3. sur cette tige 4 sont enfilées six clefs à tube 5, 5 de calibre décroissant, dont la plus grosse a sensiblement le même diamètre que la partie 3 et qui sont légèrement coniques extérieurement de fa- gon à former un manche bien équilibré. Une capsule 6 vissée sur l'extrémité à, arêtes filetées 7 de la tige 4 maintient ces clefs à tubes convenablement serrées et cache la dent 8 qui ter- mine cette tige et dont le rôle sera expliqué plus loin.
La partie conique ? du manche reçoit la mâchoire mobile 9 qui peut être bloquée dans la position voulue au moyen d'un patin 10 actionné par une vis de serrage 11. Grâce à la coni- cité de cette partie 2 du manche qui empêche la mâchoire 9 de reculer lorsque le patin 10 est serré, 11 suffit d'un léger serrage de la vis 11 pour obtenir le blocage absolu de la mâ- choire mobile. Aussi la clef anglaise ainsi formée se manoeuvre t-elle très aisément et beaucoup plus rapidement qu'une clef à crémaillère et vis sans fin de type ordinaire.

La mâchoire mobile 9 n'est maintenue latéralement sur le manche de l'outil que par deux pattes 12,12 situées du même côté que le patin 10 et auxquelles correspondent deux encoches 13, 13 ménagées au bas de la partie conique 2 du manche pour livrer passage à ces pattes et permettre ainsi d'adapter la mâchoire 9 à l'outil ou de l'en détacher à volonté.
Pour utiliser les clefs à tube 5, 5 qui forment le manche de l'outil, on peut employer un racagnac tel que celui repré- senté sur les Fige. 3 et 4. Ce racagnac comprend un rochet 14 muni de deux tourillons de section carrée 15, 15, qui peut tourner entre deux flasques 16, 16 reliés d'un côté par une patte 17 et prolongés de l'autre côté par deux gouttières 18, 18 formant ensemble une douille de section carrée. Après avoir dévissé la capsule 6 pour pouvoir retirer de la tige 4 la clef à tube du calibre voulu, on enfile cette clef sur l'un des tourillons carrés 15 du racagnac et on l'adapte sur l'é- crou 19 comme c'est montré en pointillé sur la Fig. 3.
On in- troduit ensuite la tige 4 de l'outil dans la douille 18 du ra- cagnac de façon à mettre la dent 8 qui termine cette tige en prise avec les dents du rochet 14 comme le montre la Fig. 4, et l'on fait fonctionner le raoagnac en se servant du manche de l'outil. comme levier et de la dent 8 comme cliquet.
Bien entendu l'invention n'est pas limitée strictement aux détails d'exécution décrits et représentés à titre d'exem- ple et l'on pourrait, sans sortir de son cadre, apporter à ces détails les modifications jugées utiles pour adapter mieux encore l'outil aux buts envisagés.

The hammer head 1. forming the fixed jaw of the adjustable wrench, is in one piece with a conical part 2 and a cylindrical part 3 of the handle which is continued by a square rod 4 riveted in the cylindrical part 3. on this rod 4 are threaded six tube wrenches 5, 5 of decreasing gauge, the largest of which has substantially the same diameter as part 3 and which are slightly conical on the outside so as to form a well balanced handle. A capsule 6 screwed onto the end with threaded edges 7 of the rod 4 maintains these tube wrenches suitably tightened and hides the tooth 8 which terminates this rod and the role of which will be explained later.
The conical part? of the handle receives the movable jaw 9 which can be locked in the desired position by means of a pad 10 actuated by a tightening screw 11. Thanks to the taper of this part 2 of the handle which prevents the jaw 9 from moving back when the shoe 10 is tight, a slight tightening of the screw 11 is sufficient to obtain absolute blocking of the movable jaw. Also the wrench thus formed is operated very easily and much more quickly than a rack wrench and worm of the ordinary type.

The movable jaw 9 is held laterally on the handle of the tool only by two tabs 12, 12 located on the same side as the shoe 10 and to which correspond two notches 13, 13 formed at the bottom of the conical part 2 of the handle for provide passage to these tabs and thus make it possible to adapt the jaw 9 to the tool or to detach it at will.
