Die in dieser Weise erhaltenen unlöslichen Metallsalze können für verschiedene Zwecke benutzt werden, z. B. als "builders" in Seife und andern Waschmitteln, Kautschuk und Kunststoffen. Sie können auch mit Mineralölen oder fetten Ölen und Fetten innig vermischt werden, wobei Schmiermittel oder Salben für medizinische Zwecke erhalten werden können. Zur Herstellung von Salben sind unter anderem auch Silber-oder Quecksilberverbindungen geeignet.

PATENTANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von wasserunlöslichen Salzen mehrwertiger Metalle, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man wasserlösliche Salze mehrwertiger Metalle sowohl mit einem Alkalisilikat wie mit einem Alkalisalz einer organischen Säure in verdünnter wässeriger Lösung unter Bildung einer homogenen Suspension reagieren lässt.

The insoluble metal salts thus obtained can be used for various purposes, e.g. B. as "builders" in soap and other detergents, rubber and plastics. Silver or mercury compounds, among other things, are also suitable for the production of ointments.

1. Process for the preparation of water-insoluble salts of polyvalent metals, characterized in that water-soluble salts of polyvalent metals are allowed to react both with an alkali silicate and with an alkali salt of an organic acid in dilute aqueous solution to form a homogeneous suspension.
