Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Schwefelsäureesters.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen als  Hilfsstoff für die Textilindustrie wertvollen       Schwefelsäureester    erhält, wenn man Stearin  alkohol mit den Additionsprodukten, welche       Schwefeltrioxyd    mit organischen Basen bildet,  behandelt.  



  Der so hergestellte     Schwefelsäureester    bil  det eine weisse Masse, die in Wasser unter  Bildung einer stark schäumenden Lösung  leicht löslich ist.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Zu 100 Teilen wasserfreiem     Pyridin    lässt  man unter Rühren bei 0-10 0 30 Teile     Chlor-          sulfonsäure        (120-125        %        der        Theorie)        zu-          tropfen.    Die erhaltene     Pyridinsulfotrioxyd-          suspension    versetzt man mit einer Lösung,  bestehend aus 54 Teilen     Stearinalkohol    und  170 Teilen wasserfreiem     Pyridin.    Es findet  dabei Temperatursteigerung bis auf etwa 30 0  statt.

   Bei 26- 30 0 tritt vorübergehender  gallertartiger Zustand der Reaktionsflüssig-         keit    ein, welcher bei etwas höherer Temperatur  wieder verschwindet. plan heizt weiter auf  40 0 und hält noch während zwei Stunden  bei 40-45 0. Nach dieser Zeit wird das  Reaktionsgemisch abgekühlt, kalt mit ver  dünnter     Natriumhydroxydlösung    neutralisiert  (bis gerade     Phenolphthaleinalkalinität    ein  tritt), im Vakuum bei mässiger Temperatur  (50-60 0) vom     Pyridin    befreit, der zurück  gebliebene Salzrückstand mit Wasser aufge  nommen, abgesaugt, und der Rückstand mit  wenig Wasser salzfrei gewaschen. Das zurück  bleibende weisse     Natriumsalz    wird im Vakuum  bei 70--80 0 bis zur Gewichtskonstanz ge  trocknet.

   Man erhält das     Estersalz    in einer       Ausbeute        von        über        90        %        der        Theorie.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel- säureesters, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Stearinalkohol mit den Additionsprodukten, welche Schwefeltrioxyd mit organischen Basen bildet, behandelt. Der so hergestellte Schwefelsäureester bildet eine weisse Masse, die in Wasser unter Bildung einer stark schäumenden Lösung leicht löslich ist. Er ist ein wertvoller Hilfs stoff für die Textilindustrie.
