Abstract

Secuencias señal de utilidad para el direccionamiento de proteínas y péptidos hacia la superficie de endosporas producidas por miembros de la familia Paenibacillus y métodos para utilizar las mismas. Se provee también la presentación de moléculas heterólogas, tales como péptidos, polipéptidos y otras construcciones recombinantes, sobre la superficie de esporas de miembros de la familia Paenibacillus, usando secuencias de direccionamiento N-terminales particulares y derivados de las mismas y semejantes. Reivindicación 1: Una molécula de ácido nucleico que codifica para una proteína de fusión, caracterizada porque comprende (a) una primera secuencia polinucleotídica que codifica para un péptido señal de extremo N-terminal, conectada en forma operativa a (b) una segunda secuencia polinucleotídica que codifica para un polipéptido heterólogo para el péptido señal de extremo N-terminal, en donde la primera secuencia polinucleotídica comprende: (i) una secuencia polinucleotídica que tiene 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% o 100% de identidad de secuencia con la SEQ ID Nº 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 19, 23, 25, 27 ó 29; o (ii) una secuencia polinucleotídica que comprende un fragmento de 5 a 345 nucleótidos consecutivos de la SEQ ID Nº 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 19, 23, 25, 27 ó 29.
