Abstract
La presente descripción se refiere, a un medio, por ejemplo, un reemplazo de suero, suplemento de medio, medio completo o medio de criopreservación, que comprende un tampón fisiológico básico y liposomas que comprenden colesterol, fosfatidilcolina y ácidos grasos. Se contempla que el medio provea ventajas para mejorar el crecimiento celular en cultivo en comparación con células cultivadas sin usar el reemplazo de suero descrito en la presente. Reivindicación 1: Un medio para usar con células en suspensión o en cultivo adherente, que comprende una mezcla líquida de tampón fisiológico básico y (a) liposomas que comprenden colesterol, fosfatidilcolina y ácidos grasos, en donde el liposoma está en una cantidad tal que la concentración final de colesterol en una suspensión celular o cultivo adherente va de 1 a 20 mg/L y en donde Ia concentración final de fosfatidilcolina en una suspensión celular o cultivo adherente va de 100 a 1000 mg/L; o (b) pectina; o (a) y (b).
