Abstract
Composiciones y metodos para impartir un fenotipo de pan¡cula denso y erecto a plantas, que incluyen polinucleotidos, polipeptidos, vectores y celulas. Este fenotipo se asocia con mejores rasgos de las plantas, como mejor rendimiento de la planta. Reivindicacion 1: Un polinucleotido DEP1 aislado seleccionado del grupo formado por: (a) un cido nucleico que comprende una secuencia de nucleotidos de cualquiera de SEQ ID Nøs: 1 y 5-8; (b) un cido nucleico que comprende una secuencia de nucleotidos por lo menos 70% identica a (a); (c) un cido nucleico que hibrida espec¡ficamente al complemento de (a) en condiciones de hibridacion rigurosas; (d) un cido nucleico que comprende un marco de lectura abierto que codifica una prote¡na DEP1 que comprende una secuencia de polipeptidos de cualquiera de SEQ ID Nøs: 9 y 11-14; (e) un cido nucleico que comprende un marco de lectura abierto que codifica una prote¡na DEP1 que comprende una secuencia de polipeptidos por lo menos 70% identica a cualquiera de SEQ ID Nøs: 9 y 11-14; y (f) un cido nucleico que comprende una secuencia de nucleotidos que es el complemento de cualquiera de (a)-(e).
