Abstract

La presente es una dispersion compuesta, un metodo para producirla, y art¡culos fabricados a partir de ella. La dispersion compuesta de acuerdo con la presente comprende (1) una primera dispersion de semilla que comprende (a) una primera fase interna; y (b) una fase externa, y (2) una segunda fase interna; en donde la dispersion compuesta comprende m s del 60 por ciento en peso combinado de la primera fase interna y la segunda fase interna, y la dispersion compuesta posee una viscosidad inferior a 10.000 cP medida mediante un huso RV4 a 20 rpm a m s del 60 por ciento en peso de la fase interna total, y en donde la dispersion compuesta posee una distribucion bimodal del tamano de part¡cula y una relacion del tamano de part¡cula (P2/P1) en el orden de 2 a 200. La primera fase interna comprende un primer material hidrofobo seleccionado del grupo que consta de alquido, silicona, poliolefina, poliuretano, epoxi, pol¡mero de emulsion, y poliester. La fase externa comprende agua. La segunda fase interna comprende un segundo material hidrofobo seleccionado del grupo que consta de alquido, silicona, prepol¡mero de poliuretano, epoxi, y poliester. El proceso para producir una dispersion compuesta de acuerdo con la presente comprende los siguientes pasos: (1) seleccionar una primera fase interna que comprende un primer material hidrofobo seleccionado del grupo que consta de alquilo, silicona, poliolefina, poliuretano, epoxi, pol¡mero de emulsion, poliester; (2) seleccionar una fase externa que comprende agua, (3) contactar el primer material hidrofobo con la fase externa; (4) producir de ese modo una primera dispersion de semilla; (5) contactar la primera dispersion de semilla y una segunda fase interna que comprende un segundo material hidrofobo seleccionado del grupo que consta de alquido, silicona, prepol¡mero de poliuretano, epoxi, poliester; (6) formar de ese modo la dispersion compuesta, en donde la dispersion compuesta comprende m s del 60 por ciento en peso combinado de la primera fase interna y la segunda fase interna, y en donde la dispersion compuesta posee una viscosidad inferior a 10.000 cP medida mediante un huso RV4 a 20 rpm a m s del 60 por ciento en peso de la fase interna total, y en donde la dispersion compuesta posee una distribucion bimodal del tamano do part¡cula y una relacion del tamano de part¡cula (P2/P1) en el orden de 2 a 200. Los art¡culos de acuerdo con la presente comprenden la dispersion compuesta inventiva.
