Abstract
Un proceso para eliminar amoníaco como una solucion acuosa de una sal de un gas ácido que comprende amoníaco y sulfuro de hidrogeno. Se usa un ácido fuerte, tal como ácido sulfurico, como agente purificador para convertir el amoníaco a una sal de amonio. El control de pH y de la purificacion en combinacion con calderines o evaporadores reduce la concentracion de sulfuro de hidrogeno. La sal de amonio se produce como una solucion acuosa, que puede cristalizar para formar un producto solido. La solucion de sal de amonio o el solido se pueden usar como fertilizantes.
