Abstract
Настоящее изобретение относится к способу обработки среды путем удаления или разложения одного или нескольких нежелательных веществ, находящихся в указанной среде, предусматривающему объединение пероксида водорода и гидроксида щелочного металла в водном растворе с образованием супероксида и приведение получаемого содержащего супероксид раствора в контакт с указанной средой. Способ пригоден для разложения галогенированных органических загрязняющих веществ, а также для удаления диоксида углерода из топочных газов. Способ можно также применять для рекультивации земель.
