Abstract

Una composicion combustible para cartuchos que general hidrogeno, que comprende un hidruro de metal y un reactivo líquido que tiene un pH de menos de aproximadamente 1,5 en donde una reaccion del hidruro de metal y del reactivo líquido libera gas hidrogeno. Un aparato que genera gas que comprende dicha composicion. La invencion aumenta la cantidad de hidrogeno producido o liberado a partir de las reacciones entre un combustible de hidruro de metal y un reactivo líquido, presentes en l composicion. La invencion también disminuye el volumen de un cartucho que genera hidrogeno mediante la reduccion del pH del reactivo líquido.
